About Us
Little Patriots Hoops started in 2016. We are focused on creating a basketball league that stresses learning and fundamentals above all else. We feel that 3rd, 4th, 5th & 6th graders can become the best basketball players they can be without playing 35-50 games, traveling all over the county and having to commit 5, 6 or 7 days a week to a youth sport. Little Patriots Hoops is dedicated to fun, competition and creating a work ethic where everyone can learn to work hard regardless of athletic skill.

Who can play?
Little Patriots Hoops is for children in grades 3, 4, 5 and 6. There will be a girls division and a boys division. 3rd and 4th grade play together and 5th and 6th play together. All players will play an equal amount during each game and as always, NO CUTS! This program is for everyone who wants to play!
When do we play?
Little Patriots Hoops will practice 1 weekday evening and play on Saturday mornings from between 8:30 to 3:00PM.
Weekdays will be a 75 minutes each week. Each team or group will have ONE day during the week that they practice. Mon, Tues, Wed, Thur and Fri will be split among all the groups and your day will be determined after registration is complete
October 28th is the start date
March 16th is the last day
There will be no sessions around the Christmas and Thanksgiving holidays.
How does the league work?
In November and December, both weekday and Saturday sessions will be dedicated to skills, drills and fun competitions to create a solid fundamental base for each player.
Starting in January, everyone will be assigned to either a boys team or a girls team. Players will then practice with their team on Mon, Tues, Wed, Thur or Fri and then play in a real game on Saturday.
Standings and score will be kept and the season will end with playoffs where a champion will be crowned
How do I sign up?
Little Patriots Hoops is a Town of Penfield program. You can register on line through the Town of Penfield. Registration for the 2023-24 season should open in the first two weeks of September. Once registration is open, all the "Register" buttons in red will take you to the registration link.
